Online applications are invited from unmarried male and unmarried female candidates (who fulfil eligibility conditions as laid down by the Government of India) for enrolment as Agniveer (MR) for 01/2022 (Dec 22) batch. The total vacancies for Agniveer (MR) are 200 (including a maximum of 40 female only). The eligibility criteria and broad terms and conditions are laid down herein below.

AGNIVEER SSR WORK ENVIRONMENT
The work is divided amongst different teams that do different kinds of jobs. It could be operations of various equipment such as radars, sonars or communications or firing of weapons such as missiles, guns or rockets.
AGNIVEER SSR ELIGIBILITY CONDITIONS
Agniveer SSR Post Online applications are invited from unmarried male and unmarried female candidates (who fulfil eligibility conditions as laid down by the Government of India) for enrolment as Agniveer (SSR) for 01/2022 (Nov 22) batch.
Indian Navy SSR total vacancies are 2800 (including a maximum of 560 female only), will be earmarked in a state-wise manner. The eligibility criteria and broad terms and conditions are laid down herein below.
Indian Navy SSR Post Educational Qualifications

Agniveer Indian Navy Age Requirement
Candidates should be born between 01 Nov 1999 – 30 Apr 2005 (Both dates inclusive). The age for Agniveer (SSR) candidates should be between 17½ – 21 years on the day of enrolment. A one-time relaxation of upper age limit upto 23 years has been granted for the Agniveer 2022 batch.
Marital Status
Only unmarried male and unmarried female candidates are eligible for enrolment as Agniveer in the Indian Navy. Candidates must undertake not to marry until completion of their ab-initio training. A candidate may be dismissed from service if he/she marries during ab-initio training or is found to be already married in-spite of giving an undertaking regarding the same.
Agniveer Navy SSR Duration of Service
The Agniveers shall be enrolled in the Indian Navy under the Navy Act 1957, for a period of four years. Agniveers would form a distinct rank in the Indian Navy, different from any other existing ranks. Indian Navy is not obliged to retain the Agniveers beyond the engagement period of four years.
Indian Navy Agniveers SSR Post Leave
30 days leave per year shall be applicable for Agniveers. Additionally, sick leave would be applicable based on medical advice of competent medical authority.
AGNIVEERS TRAINING & ADVANCEMENT
Candidates selected will undergo Basic Training at INS Chilka followed by Professional training in the allotted trade in various Naval Training Establishments. Branch / Trade will be allotted as per the requirement of the service.
Agneepath Scheme witch Agniveers Pay, Allowances and Allied Benefits
Agniveers will be paid a package of ₹30,000 per month with a fixed yearly increment. In addition, risk and hardship, dress and travel allowances will be paid.

Life Insurance Cover. Agniveer will be provided non-contributory Life Insurance Cover of Rs. 48 lakh for the duration of their engagement period.
Death Compensation. In addition to insurance cover of Rs. 48 Lakh, one time ex-gratia of Rs. 44 Lakh for death attributable to service, will be provided to the NOK.
Disability Compensation. One time ex-gratia of Rs. 44/ 25/ 15 Lakh based on % of disability (100%/ 75%/ 50%) shall be applicable to Agniveers.
Agniveer Navy SSR Post Shortlisting
Shortlisting of candidates would be based on aggregate percentage obtained in Physics, Mathematics and at least one of these subjects- Chemistry/ Biology/ Computer Science in the qualifying examination (10+2). Shortlisting will be carried out state wise in a ratio of four times the number of vacancies. The cut off marks may vary from state to state as vacancies have been allocated in a state-wise manner. The shortlisted candidates would be issued call-up letter for written examination and PFT. Aadhar Card is mandatory for written examination/ PFT.
Indian Navy Agniveers Physical Standards
Qualifying in Physical Fitness Test (PFT) is mandatory for selection. Candidates undergoing PFT will do so at their own risk. PFT standard is as follows:-

Minimum Height Standards. Minimum height standards for male is 157 cms and for female is 152 cms.
AGNIVEERS SSR HOW TO APPLY ONLINE APPLICATION
For this entry, the candidates can apply ONLINE ONLY on the official website www.joinindiannavy.gov.in from 15 Jul 22 to 22 Jul 22. The procedure is available on Indian Navy official website www.joinindiannavy.gov.in. Candidates are advised to fill up correct details while filling the online application.
Any updates/ corrections are to be carried out by the candidate before the last date of submission of application. No further correction/ update is feasible after the last date of submission of application. Incorrect declaration of information by candidates, identified at any stage would result in cancellation of candidature.
AGNIVEERS SSR ONLINE APPLICATION IMPORTANT INFORMATION
- Mobile phones or any other communication devices are not allowed inside the premises where the examination is being conducted. Any infringement of these in-structions shall entail disciplinary action including ban from future examinations.
- Candidates are strongly advised to apply online well in time without waiting for the last date for submission of Online application.
- No candidate should misbehave in any manner or create disorderly scene in examination premises. This will entail disqualification.
- Candidates should avoid submitting multiple applications. If more than one ap-plication is received from a candidate, his candidature will be cancelled.
- The decision of the Indian Navy as to the eligibility or otherwise of a candidate at every stage of recruitment shall be final.
- Wrong information about domicile certificate will result in cancellation of candi-dature at any stage of recruitment, training and thereafter.
Agniveers SSR Post Merit List
Merit list will be prepared based on performance in written examination, subject to qualification in Physical Fitness Test. Merit List for Agniveer (SSR) – male and female will be based on state-wise merit. The cut off marks for issue of call up letter for Recruitment Medical Examination at INS Chilka may vary from state to state.
